Clover
M/F:Male
Weight: (approximate) 5 lbs
This friendly boy was found running in a neighborhood with Shamrock.
Turns out that they were abandoned by the owner, and then his friend,
who didn’t want to feed them anymore, so he turned them outside.
They were discovered eating marigolds, and were easily caught and
happy to come inside! Both like attention and are easy to handle.
Shamrock
M/F:Male
Weight: (approximate) 5 lbs
Shamrock was found with Clover in a neighborhood. The two were abandoned first by the
owner, and then by his friend who was looking after them. The family that found them
was able to go right up to them and pick them up. They are good friends, but hormones
were too strong, so they had to be separated. They may be able to be reunited after
their neuters if someone wanted them together.
Zack, Male approximately 5lbs
Zack came in with his brothers, Cody and Mitch. They were abandoned at a pet store, who
put all three in a tiny aquarium cage. As you can imagine, they were miserable and not
getting along in such close quarters. They are young, lively and full of energy, and
can jump out of their pens. Zach will need good supervision and a very safe place to
play - just like an active child. Adopting a young rabbit takes some patience and
understanding as they grow through adolescence, but they are always always
entertaining
Rochelle
Type/Breed (if applicable): Rex
M/F:Female
Weight: (approximate) 6 lbs
This pretty little rex girl was abandoned on a horse farm. She spent a couple days in the barn till the owner of the farm was able to contact us. She appears young, and has a sweet disposition. She knows how to use her litter box already, and her spay will be scheduled in January. Rex bunnies are known for their curiosity and intelligence and their super soft fur.
Elizabeth
Type/Breed (if applicable): Dutch
M/F:Female
Weight: (approximate) 5 lbs
Elizabeth is back. She had been adopted by a caring family, but the teenage girl got too busy for her, and they decided they could not honor their commitment and returned her to us. Elizabeth has a very sweet personality. She stands up at the edge of her pen looking for someone to pet her. She is still only a couple years old, and has very good litter box habits. She loves little girls, and is willing to be held as long as she feels safe and secure. She has been accustomed to life with a family, and we know that she is really anxious to find someone to love her and take her home.
Bugs and Carly
M/F:Bonded Pair
Size 5 lbs each
Meet Bugs and Carly. Bugs was abandoned outside a vet office when the family lost their home and didn't know what else to do with their beloved bun. He is a gentle and loving rabbit with silky fur and a sweet disposition. Carly was given to a child who lost interest in her, and was living at the same vet office, and the two were paired up and have been great friends ever since. Carly is the dominant oneof the two, and has a bit more rabbitude than Bugs, but she is also just a youngster, and he is patient with her. Carly is under a year old, and Bugs is 1 1/2. They sure did have a big time playing in the pillows during the photo session!
Felicia and Oscar
M/F:Bonded Pair
Size 7 lbs each
Felicia was single and been through a lot. Oscar became single after a long time bonded to Felix and low and behold he found love with Felicia (do you think he just liked the name!) no wonder he did not get along well with Felix!!!! Felicia is the love of his life and he has blossomed with her. And from the looks of this picture she is totally relaxed with him!!! Felicia was found outside by a family and they just could not keep her Oscar was a Reno rabbit , one of thousands rescued from a backyard. Both have now found love at the shelter and would love a new forever home they are wonderful couple and both are very tidy! Another reason Oscar was glad to be rid of Felix! Felicia is about a year and a half old and Oscar is about four.
Tammy and Britt
M/F:Bonded Pair
Weight: (approx) 6 lbs each
Tammy and Britt were first found as youngsters, in a hallway, about to be put out
with the trash. They were accepted by us, and adopted into a home for a few months,
and then returned because the 5 year old lost interest - duh!!! We want them to go
into a home where the whole family is involved in loving on these beautiful rabbits.
Britt (dark brown) is just a bit shy, but eager to come for treats and to see what's
going on. Tammy (white with black spots) does happy binkies and ear tosses that will
leave a silly grin on your face.
